A Revolution is an overthrow or repudiation and the thorough replacement of an established government or political system by the people governed. Although not common, instances of major revolution have taken place throughout the course of history, including France during the 18th and 19th centuries, Russia in the 20th century, and most recently the countries of Tunisia, Libya, and Egypt, all of which revolted in 2011. In each instance, the causes of revolution had been set in motion for years prior due to a multitude of inequities within each country. And even though each instance is slightly different, the overarching reasons for revolt remain the same. The people of these countries that initiated these revolutions were driven by their hope for a better future. They put their aspirations above fear, knowing that only they had the ability to make a change within their country. These people were not afraid of what could happen to them because they had too much hope in what could be. "Fear does not work as long as they have hope."~President Snow, Catching Fire
